Early interventions, actionable results, better health outcomes

When caught early through screening, cancer survival rates are higher and treatment is less expensive. Most cancer preventive screenings are covered by insurance at no or low cost — but screening rates remain far too low.

With the right access model, employers and funds can bring populations up to guidelines and reduce the significant financial and human costs of cancer. Color’s Cancer Prevention and Screening Program, in partnership with the American Cancer Society, does just that.

Cancer is now a leading driver of employer and union healthcare spend.

Improving members’ screening rates can reduce costs.

Cancer screening should be simple and accessible

We minimize the delays and complexity of traditional screening to help members take action against preventable cancers.

Identify screening needs

We conduct personalized health assessments to educate a participant on what screenings they need, then help them take action to complete it.

Increase utilization

We offer scientific and engaging educational programming such as company and union workshops and seminars led by clinicians, how-to guides, email reminders, and informative webinar series to maximize adoption and screening rates.

Support follow-through

Color’s dedicated Care Advocates trained in motivational interviewing help guide participants through their personalized screening recommendations and preventive actions they can take.

Visibility into screening rates

Compliance data from carriers is challenging to secure and lacks detail. We give visibility into screening rates across the workforce with better granularity and breakdowns by demographic or geography to help you understand gaps and opportunities.

Cancer Prevention and Screening

Promote member health and well-being. Effectively manage costs.

Color's program offers members and their families an opportunity to better understand potential risk through its genetic testing program. This program gives participating members in-depth knowledge about their hereditary risk and provides information to help them make informed medical and lifestyle decisions.
